Position Overview
Ultimate Staffing is actively seeking an experienced Branch Manager to lead operations in California. This dynamic role offers the opportunity to oversee branch operations, manage a talented team, and drive financial performance. Key Responsibilities
Lead Branch Operations
- Oversee all branch activities, ensuring smooth and efficient operations from field to office.
- Drive compliance with company policies, safety standards, and local regulations.
- Manage scheduling, staffing, and project execution to deliver consistent results.
- Partner closely with stakeholders, including project managers and foremen, to keep jobs on track.
Own Financial Performance
- Monitor and drive branch profitability, balancing revenue, expenses, and job costs.
- Prepare budgets and forecasts.
- Review and approve project estimates, change orders, and invoices.
Inspire and Develop People
- Hire, train, and mentor project managers, field staff, and administrative team members.
- Set clear goals, provide regular feedback, and support professional growth.
- Build a positive, collaborative team culture that celebrates success and problem-solving.
Grow Client & Business Relationships
- Cultivate long-term partnerships with clients, vendors, and subcontractors.
- Identify and pursue opportunities for new projects and business development.
- Represent Mathews Mechanical at client meetings, industry events, and in the community.
Drive Strategic Growth
- Align branch operations with company-wide goals and values.
- Identify opportunities for innovation, efficiency, and continuous improvement.
- Contribute to the company's long-term vision and success.
Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in construction management, with at least 2 years in a leadership role.
- Proven track record managing commercial or industrial construction projects.
- Strong knowledge of construction methods, scheduling, budgeting, and job costing.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
- Proficiency in project management software, Microsoft Office Suite, and scheduling tools.
- Valid driver's license with the ability to travel to job sites as needed.
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or related field.
- OSHA 30 Certification.
- Experience with estimating and business development.
